Here’s a list of upcoming live performances.

February 10th:  The Record Bar 1020 Westport Road, KCMO 10PM

John Velghe and The Prodigal Sons (the full, seven-piece outfit) will perform songs from their record, Don’t Let Me Stay.  This will be your first chance to see the full seven-piece band perform together.  Make sure you get there in time to catch John Greiner and the Sawyers open, and stick around for the Katy Guillen/GoGo Ray Duo.

March 16-18th: SXSW Including:

March 17th @ Maria’s Taco Express with Alejandro Escovedo and friends.

March 18th @ The Continental Club with Alejandro Escovedo and friends.

John Velghe and The Prodigal Sons play two legendary SXSW showcases with Alejandro Escovedo and friends.  Alejandro personally curates these shows and being asked to play is an honor.  Line up and set times TBA (check back soon).

March 24th:  ALBUM RELEASE SHOW @ The Record Bar 1020 Westport Road, KCMO 10PM

John Velghe and The Prodigal Sons Orchestra (all 12 pieces) play a special show with the string section, horn section, Kirsten Paludan — everyone who made this record what it is will perform songs from Don’t Let Me Stay.  12″ Vinyl, CDs and artwork will be available.  Be there to catch Diverse and other acts.
